About The Business

Copperccino is a jewelry and accessories brand/online shop founded recently in 2017.  It's birth however was back in 2013, conceived from a passion for jewelry and visual art from the time it's founder was a child.  It's evolution has been a slow, yet significant journey.  Over these past four years, the accessories have been featured and sold online, at a craft show, and in two separate stores in central Texas.

About The Owner

Sara Harvel is a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful little girls and is married to her wonderful, supportive husband of 4 years.  They currently live on the outskirts of Austin, Texas, in the city of Cedar Park.
The Harvels are a family of natural born artists, Sara has been creating traditional visual art since she was a child.  She attended The Art Institute of Austin in 2008, where she met her now husband, Phillip.  She dropped out of the school to pursue other avenues in life.  Phillip earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2012, and is currently pursuing a career in IT.  Hannah(5) loves to dance, sing, and draw.  Hailey(2) enjoys listening to music and huming along with the songs.  
Sara is learning to cope with a recent diagnoses of Multiple Sclerosis, and has struggled with undiagnosed ADHD her whole life.  She is now on treatments for both, and is pushing through the struggles to make her dreams of owning her own successful jewelry business come true.

About The Blog

Crafting Over Coffee serves as a way for customers and followers to be up to date with what is going on with Copperccino as a small business.  Along with showcasing featured items, sales and coupons for the shop, craft tutorials and behind the scenes photos of the creative process will be included.

Making Earring Cards

Today I want to give an inside look at how I put together my new earring cards for orders. I start by gathering everything I need: -Artist Trading Cards (white) -Stamps (thank you circle seal, one of a kind art, letters for my initials) -Acid Free stamping pigment (turquoise) -Multi-hole punch The first thing I do is measure 1 inch below the top of the card and draw a line with a pencil across the paper. Then, I find the middle of the line and mark it. Next, I mark where the holes will be punched, an inch apart.  Half an inch from each side of the middle mark. Punch the earring holes using the smallest setting on the multi-hole punch. Now it's time to stamp on the card.  First I stamp the "Thank you" seal on the front of the card.  I don't take measurements or anything, just eye ball it. Christmas Gifts on a Budget

I love shopping for gifts. It's probably my favorite part of the Holidays.  Finding that perfect gift for a special someone in your life and seeing the look on their face when they open it.  It's the best. Some years money is tight, however.  This was one of those years for us.  It's unfortunate, but not a problem.  I also happen to love making things.  I needed to make Christmas gifts for my family on a very, very tight budget, and a very limited time frame. Challenge accepted. Lotion A couple months ago, I had decided to try my hand at making lotion.  It was a success and I am now selling the finished product, "Chill Out body lotion", which can be purchased from my  Etsy store . I had some left over lotion in a slightly different scent from when I was experimenting before settling on the scent for "Chill Out".  I put it in some small canning jars I had in storage, printed out a new label and slapped it on...
